One Star He Saw Had Been Lit For Me

Why wouldn't our Heavenly Father light up a star on the night that Christ was born? On the night when He took Abraham outside, Abraham looked up at the stars and saw all of his physical offspring. God, however, saw all those who would one day believe and become Abraham's spiritual offspring. I wonder if God didn't just intend the stars to "serve as signs to mark sacred times and days and years" but also as a foreshadowing of all mankind and a foreshadowing of all those that would believe in Him. I wonder if deep within His heart He longed for that moment when He would show them to Abraham and later draw the attention of all mankind to them on that night that His Son was born. In lighting up a single star for His Son, I see a magnificent picture of His Son coming to and joining mankind. The starry sky now complete. I wonder if there were moments when He came & walked on His Earth far from mankind, gazing up at the stars, waiting.
